2010 Lexus LF-A

The long anticipated Lexus marvelous car by the autopartswarehouse fanatics, the LF-A, has been witnessed on test roads in Nurburygring and this put forwards for the 2010 replica year will have the capable of keeping up with the similar look of the Ferrari F430 and further. The new LF-A is almost alike the size of the F430 and roughly 2 inches smaller than the Porsche 911, but a 9 inches of additional wheel base, this car is absolutely have more room than the other two joint. The one question that remains with the new 2010 Lexus LF-A is, will it have a V8 or a V10? The answer hasn’t been decided yet but it seems to be leaning towards the V10 which would not be fuel efficient.
Thus far the sky-scraping performance Lexus LF-A appears to be tremendously aerodyn.

The other two have 7-speed automatic overdrive. Some of the top competitors of this car model are the Audi A4, Cadillac CTS, Saab 9-3, the aforementioned BMW 3-Series, and the Volvo S60.

The 3-Series currently has two trims: 328i Convertible and 335i Convertible. The former is powered by a 3-liter I6 engine that spews 230 horsepower. The 335i Convertible, on the other hand, houses a 3-liter I6 engine as well. Only this time, the horsepower given off is 300. Both trims come standard with a 6-speed manual overdrive. However, the option of a 6-speed automatic overdrive is offered. For the Coupe trims, there are four: 328i Coupe, 328xi Coupe, 335i Coupe, and 335xi Coupe. The first two trims share the same engine as the 328i Convertible while the last two trims share the same engine as the 335i Convertible. Likewise, all four trims have the same transmission as that of the Convertibles. Then there’s the Sedan trims: 328i, 328xi, 335i, and 335xi. Luxury Cars

MSN Autos has released the results for the top five luxury cars in the market today. Can you try to guess which cars are included? The results might surprise you or it might not.

To avoid beating around the bush, let’s start off with the car that took the fifth spot: 2008 Infiniti G35. This car model (a sedan) was pretty well-received when it was introduced last 2003, replacing the Infiniti G20. In fact, the Infiniti G35 was named “Car of the Year” by Motor Trend, one of the oldest and reliable automobile magazines. The 2008 Infiniti G35 has undergone some redesigns. Now it includes the handy Infiniti iPod Interface as well as Driver’s Audio Stage. Another new thing about this car model is the new exterior color, the Desert Platinum. The Sport Package is given as an option for the G35x All-Wheel Drive (AWD) version. The new Infiniti G35 is offered in four different trims: Base, Journey, Sport 6MT, and xAWD. Across all four models is the standard 3.5-liter V6 engine which kicks off 306 horsepower. Everything has a transmission of a 5-speed automatic overdrive, except for the Sport 6MT. The latter is a 6-speed manual overdrive. Braking features are the ABS brakes, Electronic Brake Assistance and the Vehicle Stability Control System. The standard safety features that each of the trim includes driver airbag, front side airbag, passenger airbag, side head curtain airbags, power windows, First Aid kit, and the Trunk Anti-Trap Device. With its powerful engine and good fuel efficiency, it makes sense why the Infiniti G35 was included.

Volkswagen Rabbit

Though its not as popular in America as its betrunked sibling, the Jetta, the Rabbit (known elsewhere as the Golf) is Volkswagen's best-selling model world-wide, and it's also one of my favorite small cars. The Rabbit's hatchback body style has lots of room for passengers and their belongings; in fact, the Rabbit actually has slightly more interior volume than the Jetta. Yet it's 13.5 inches shorter -- and that lack of extra length can make all the difference in places where street parking is tight. I'm not a big fan of the Rabbit's rather austere interior, but I love its road manners -- the Rabbit is an absolute delight to drive.

Suzuki SX4

Another perennial favorite of mine, the Suzuki SX4 is the cheapest car in North America with standard all-wheel-drive (at least in hatchback form; the SX4 Sport sedan is front-drive only), and its quite lavishly equipped for a small, inexpensive car. But price isn't the only reason I love the SX4 -- it's got lots of headroom and a surprisingly spacious back seat, plus it's cute to look at and fun to drive.

Smart Fortwo

Photo © Aaron Gold

How often do you use your back seat? If the answer is "Not a lot," then you should seriously consider a Smart Fortwo. The Fortwo packs in nearly as much front-seat and trunk room as a typical small car. But with only one row of seats, it's a good 4 to 5 feet shorter than your typical subcompact. That means it'll squeeze into those little half-spaces that even small hatchbacks have to pass up. And with just 1800 lbs to haul around, the Fortwo's fuel economy is 10 to 20% higher than a typical small car. It makes a great commuter vehicle -- when you get to work, there's no need to park it; just toss it into your briefcase with your laptop.

Scion xB

A 2008 redesigned up-sized the Scion xB from mini-box to proper SUV-beater -- the xB has as much back seat and cargo room as many crossover SUVs. From behind the wheel, the Scion xB has all the advantages of a small car -- it's nimble, easy to see out of and easy to drive. Fuel economy is similar to a mid-size sedan and significantly better than most small SUVs, while unique styling makes it stand out in a world of look-alike cars

Honda Civic

If you're shopping for a mid-size family sedan, I strongly urge you to bring your spouse and kids down to your Honda dealership and try a Civic on for size. Thanks to an innovative flat floor, the Civic offers more rear seat space than most compacts, and in terms of fuel economy it's one of the best. I've always preferred mid-size sedans for family duty, but a week of living with the Civic changed my mind. Options such as a navigation system and a new-for-2008 leather interior make the Civic easier to live with than ever. And if you have a penchant for speed, the Civic Si sedan is one of my favorite small sports cars.

Dodge Caliber

Photo © Aaron Gold

I'll be the first to admit that the Dodge Caliber isn't my favorite car to drive, but if I had a lot of stuff to haul, this is one of the small cars I'd consider buying. The Caliber delivers lots of space for the money, and it's well-designed space, too; take, for example, the cargo bay, which is lined with a thick plastic floor designed to stand up to the abuses of heavy-duty hauling. The Caliber's chunky SUV-like styling belies its relatively small size, and the optional continuously variable automatic (CVT) provides a better mix of power and economy than traditional manual or automatic transmissions

scientific proof.

We've long suspected that the right car might help get a woman's attention. Finally, we've got scientific proof. The confirmation comes courtesy of a British psychologist's study in which he tested the sexually arousing effects of a Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and VW engine on men and women. By taking saliva samples, doctors found significant increases in testosterone, the hormone indicating sexual arousal, among women.

In fact, the study found a noticeable increase among 100% of the women tested when they heard the revving Maserati engine. He also found the VW Polo engine actually led to a decrease in testosterone in some cases. So there you have it, people. Science confirming what we already knew. It still feels good to hear it sometimes.

Rolls-Royce

Every year, the exciting world of luxury automobiles continues to wow us with ever-better new creations. It is very often the usual suspects, however, who give us the world's best. Evocative names like Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Pagani and Ferrari all make appearances in our list of this year's favorites.

All these cars are undeniably powerful. But the raison d'etre of these machines does not stop at breaking the speed limit in under five seconds flat. In many cases they are also superbly cosseting, comfortable long-distance cruisers that have all your bases covered. You see, it is not always enough to break land speed records on a daily basis. And for the modern connoisseur, it is this all-roundedness that makes a fast car a luxury car.

Doesn’t sound like too bad a life to me….

1935 Plymouth Rumble Seat

Small block 406 Chevrolet, turbo 400 transmission, four wheel disk brake, power steering. Recaro seats.

I bought it as a $275 basket case in November 1974. Home built and every friend I ever knew helped me build this car.

Special thanks to Judy Musselman.

Total rebuild... welding, fabrication, rewiring, engine, paint, upholstery, a total rebuild of everything.

2006 Scion xB

I have been a member of ScionLife since 2006. After dreaming about owning a Scion XB for over a year, I finally fulfilled my desire and purchased it in 2006. I special ordered my Blue Onyx Pearl Scion from the Scion Guys at John Eagle's Sport City Scion in Dallas, TX. At this point, I would never consider selling my Scion, and in fact, am concerned with the fact that if something happened to it I might not be able to replace it as this body style is no longer made.

Something that sets my Scion apart is the distinctive interior, which features custom designed & installed seat covers, embroidered XB logo on the headrests, hand-sewn covers for the pillar posts and passenger's assist handles. I chose to use the original cloth along with a new metallic blue vinyl on the sides and backs of the seats. Tin LIzzie Affair upholstery shop in Dallas designed and installed all the interior work. I have also had custom floor mats, front and rear, made with the XB logo on them, adding more uniqueness and individuality to my Scion.

I am proudly advertising my custom interior by displaying Tin LIzzie Affair's logo and number on my rear window. As I drive around the Dallas area, I enjoy letting everyone know about my Scion's unique interior and the professional service of the shop that made it possible.

2007 Saturn Sky

This is my 2007 Saturn Sky Convertible that is also known as "Heavenly".

It's dedicated to Bill Little, who is a good friend of mine. He is a christian, like myself, and wants people to know about Jesus Christ.

Everything on the car from bumper to bumper has been updated.

Every time I step on the break, the three crosses in the rear window lights up and the break light shows "Heavenly".

I have a personalized license plate that reads MY1SKY

LED lights are all over... in the side fenders, in the front wheels, bumpers, and inside the front grill and the vent on top of the hood.

It has a four cylinder with 173 horse power with a supercharger chip, which provides an extra 40 horsepower, and has two intake manifolds with a Stainless Steel Flowmaster exhaust. There are a great many custom pieces as you can see in the photos.

It has custom interior with two tone leather seats and many other custom features as you can also see in the photos.

The wheels are special order from Discount Tire and are some of their finest selection.

I want to thank Fast Signs in Denton for the excellent work with making and putting on the racing stripes and wheel decals that matched the seats and the rest of the interior and car.

1932 Ford Three Window Coupe

My wife Debbie and I have owned this car since April of 2008. I've always loved street Rods and we used to have a 32 High-Boy Roadster. My wife has always wanted a red 32 Coupe.

This car was professionally built by a street rodder in Tennessee. It has lots of special clean features. We call this car "Red 32". The color is a PPG color called "Hot Red" and is really striking.

The interior is ultra leather and has power windows, air conditioning, six speaker CD, and a I Did It branded tilt steering wheel column. The drive train features a GM Performance 350 cubic inch / 350 horsepower crate motor.

The transmission is a Corvette 700R4 four speed automatic with overdrive and a Ford 9 inch 308 posi rear end. Handling is delivered by a rack in pinion steering and a chromed Pete & Jake's front suspension system and rear coil over shocks.

Although some well known auto portals claim that Porsche has stopped selling its Carrera GT supercar. But currently (2006 Dec), Porsche confirms that its $440,000 famous convertible is still available for sale in the U.S. market, thus the car qualifies to be in this list.

Saleen S7 Twin Turbo

The Saleen S7 is a limited edition, hand built coupe developed jointly by Saleen, Hidden Creek Industries, Phil Frank Design and RML, and produced solely by Saleen in Irvine, California. It is the first car produced by Saleen not based on an existing design and is considered to be the first true American production certified supercar. The S7 debuted on August 19, 2000 at the Monterey Historic Races. At this time the car was normally aspirated with 550 horsepower. In 2005, the S7 was replaced by the S7 Twin Turbo, which featured a more powerful twin-turbo system that boosted engine power to 750 horsepower (760 PS/559 kW) and the top speed to an estimated 250 mph (402 km/h).

LeBlanc Mirabeau

Mirabeau is the newest car from Wysstec GmbH and Leblanc cars. It’s a new proposal for a racecar and prepared to FIA/Le Mans standards .The fact that it is street legal, is almost unbelievable. To reach the maximum of lightweight building and race feeling the car interior is optimized for maximum of speed and acceleration. There are some special options, including leather interior and a sequential gearbox. Power comes from Koenigsegg’s V8, the same engine found in the CCR. It is equipped with a Lysholm Screw Compressor, which has several advantages to the common centrifugal compressor.

SSC Ultimate Aero

The American-built SSC Aero TT is a supercar built by Shelby Super Cars (SSC) in order to rival the new Bugatti Veyron with speeds of over 250 mph (400 km/h) and a 0-60 mph time of just 2.78 seconds (for the Ultimate Aero TT version). The company and vehicle are the brainchilds of Jerod Shelby, who spent over seven years designing the Aero. The car is the world’s fastest production car at 255.83 mph (411.707 km/h), a speed reportedly achieved on September 13, 2007 in West Richland, WA. The results of this test, if verified by Guiness World Records, will give the SSC Aero the world’s fastest production car title.

The Aero’s styling includes the use of flip doors similar to the ones found on the Mercedes-McLaren SLR, and the Ferrari Enzo, to name a few. It uses carbon fiber and titanium extensively throughout the car, keeping the weight down to 1233 kg (for the standard Aero). For the Ultimate Aero, weight is further reduced to 1179 kg by marking the navigation system, 10-speaker audio/CD/DVD system, video/DVD screen, and back-up camera as optional equipment; and removing air-conditioning and any trunk space altogether.

Pagani Zonda Roadster F C12S 7.3

The Pagani Zonda is a supercar produced by Pagani in Italy. It debuted in 1999 and continues through the present, with production proceeding at roughly 25 cars per year. As of December, 2005, 60 Zondas had been built. It is a mid-engined 2-seat coupe and convertible. Construction is mainly of carbon fiber. The Zonda Roadster F debuted at the 2006 Geneva show. It is similar to the coupe, but with a removable carbon fibre roof and canvas side curtains weighing just 11 lb (5 kg). Production of the Roadster F is suggested at 25 units. The Roadster F is able to maintain chassis rigidity without any gain in curb weight by eschewing conventional thinking by not strengthening the sills - a process which would have needed more than 35 kg of reinforcement.

Pagani instead uses racecar thinking, materials and construction techniques, strengthening the firewall structure of the chassis tub together with billet alloy braces that connect the points where the roof rails would have joined. The windscreen is also strengthened for safety reasons. These techniques enable the Roadster to have virtually the same weight as the coupe - 1230 kg (2712 lb)

Most Expensive Car In The World - Bugatti Veyron Or Bugatti Royale?

The US$ 1.5 million Bugatti Veyron

I remember when it came out some sites and papers were saying the current Bugatti Veyron which is US$1.5 million was the world's most expensive car. At that price Bugatti Veyron is certainly one of the most expensive cars (its the fastest accelerating and most powerful street going car in the world) but it is another Bugatti that seems to be most expensive car ever

Bugatti Veyron 16.4

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 uses a 16-cylinder, 1001 HP engine.
With its incredibly powerful engine, acceleration times and price, Veyron isn't just most expensive, but also most fascinating car in terms of performance and luxury. With its notorious production delays finally over, Bugatti's superstar Veyron is now already for sale in Europe and the company is working hard to bring it to the U.S. market.

Leblanc Mirabeau

Leblanc Mirabeau features a mid-engine that can output over 700 HP and is capable of reaching 230 mph / 370 km/h top speed.
Leblanc is rapidly ramping up the production of its new Mirabeau supercar, which, with its power and potential, should belong to a race track. Hopes are to make this powerful supercar street-legal for the U.S. roads by the end of 2006 or early 2007.
Made in Switzerland.

Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo

The Saleen S7 uses a 7 liter 750 HP V-8 engine. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
Saleen's S7 Twin Turbo has fallen to the 5th place from last years first spot in most expensive car list. Mainly because all four nameplates ahead of it are new. However, the S7 still remains to be one of the more recognizable supercars on the list.

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster

Our “Driven” series highlights the several cars I was able to sample at IMPA’s Spring Brake 2009 event. These short takes are summaries of my driving impressions of the cars on the roads surrounding Bear Mountain State Park in Rockland County, New York.

Prior to Spring Brake, I knew this car was going to be present, but I was doubtful I would get a turn behind the wheel. With so many other cars available, I did not want to lose a lot of time standing in line for any particular car. Before the driving began, I was able to snap a few shots of the SLR. As the morning wore on, I could hear the bellow of the SLR’s V-8 as drivers accelerated hard on exiting a tight left turn after the park entrance. The car was always on the go. Always a wait.

Shortly after noon, I rolled into the lot driving an Infiniti G37S convertible. It was lunch time, and everyone had taken a break to eat. I grabbed a hot dog, and noticed the SLR was sitting alone, no one around it. Mercedes-Benz had about a half dozen young PR staff on site to help out and answer questions. They too were taking a breather. I, however, saw my opportunity to be first in line to get in the SLR.

Ford Mustang: It’s A Toned Pony!

If there is one car out there that truly is a dream car, it has got to be the 2010 Ford Mustang. This particular car is by far one of the best looking cars in the world and it has been the premier dream car for years and years. However – what makes this particular car so attractive and a dream car? For one, I think it has got to be the status – when you tell people that you own a Mustang, they look at your differently.

Another reason why the Mustang has got to be one of the best cars on the market is because of the beauty of it. The Ford Mustang is something that is so beautiful looking and a lot of cars are actually modeled after the Mustang and that is pretty cool isn’t it?

So if you are looking for a dream car – the Ford Mustang has got to be the car that you are looking for!
